The project partners will be meeting in Unama’ki (Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada) from August 10th to 17th 2025 for our second in-person gathering.

Throughout this trip, there will be opportunities for connection and collaboration between the project partners and community members in Unama’ki to share their knowledge.

Membertou First Nation
Gathering First Nations leaders, knowledge holders, staff, and First Nations organizations representatives to discuss impacts of, and responses to, climate change – attendees to include housing managers, fisheries managers, harvesters, AFNWA staff, UINR staff, Confederacy of Mainland Mi’kmaq, Union of Nova Scotia Chiefs, etc.
